Maxi 3 Living

Description

Intended use Seventy centimetres longer than the Maxi 3, and those seventy centimetres are the living area. It is designed for multi-day competitions, where the alternative is sleeping in the car or paying for accommodation every night. It keeps the three horse places and a payload of 2,045 kg, sixty kilos less than the Maxi 3 because of the added compartment. For anyone competing two weekends a month, the sums add up on their own. Build Aluminium floor with 8 mm anti-slip rubber in the animal area, and 2.35 m of inner height along the full length. The 1,455 kg unladen weight already includes the living area's structure. The 2.02 m inner width is the same as the Maxi 3's, so the three places keep their 67 cm: the difference between the two models is in the length, not in the space per animal. Licence and towing vehicle Like the Maxi 3, this trailer is rated at 3,500 kg and requires a B+E licence: B and B96 are ruled out with any real vehicle. With B+E the combination can reach 7,000 kg, allowing a tow vehicle up to 3,500 kg gross. At 4.90 m long, the stability of the combination also depends on the vehicle's wheelbase: a long 4x4 behaves better than a short SUV of the same mass.
